About balance

These take the most care of any set we make: each fragment has to be suspended at the die's center of mass so it rolls true. Done right, the difference is imperceptible in normal play. Roll one a thousand times and you'd eventually see it favor a face — but across a normal game night, you won't notice.

About the material

All fossils are remineralized — the original organic bone is long gone, replaced over millions of years by stone that preserved its structure. So this is real T. rex and a real fossil, and chemically it's the fossilized stone everyone recognizes.
